Hey there! I’m Alec and I love to bake. Growing up, I spent a lot of time at my grandparent’s house in northern Michigan. My grandma and I would bake everything from cookies to cakes and all the treats in-between. Looking back, those moments I shared with my grandma meant so much more to me than just baking something delicious. Baking is a time to slow down and connect with yourself or with those close to you. When life gets hectic, baking is always there to give space and focus. My hope is that my recipes inspire and give my readers the time to slow down, live in the moment, and enjoy something scrumptious in the end.

Lakeshore Bakes is inspired by the sandy shores of Michigan and the relaxed lifestyle of lake life.
